What do we do?
We are an event florist providing beautiful floral displays. We also have timeless vintage china, tableware and flower containers for hire.
Whether you need just floral displays or everything including flowers, vases and vintage china, we hire what you need to host a memorable event. Our vintage tableware includes teapots, cups, saucers, tea plates, tea cutlery, cake stands, serving plates or bowls and vintage tablecloths. If you are having a lunch or dinner, we have vintage china dinner plates and dessert bowls for hire.
Can I just hire the vintage china?
Yes – you can just hire the vintage china and tableware.
Can you just provide the floral displays for my event?
Yes, you can just purchase floral displays, however we try and avoid floral foam and single use plastic where possible and that is also why we prefer vintage vases which have been used and loved previously. We also aim to use recycled packaging.
We aim to source locally grown flowers in season where possible and please let us know if this is something that you specifically require.
By purchasing the flowers from us this also enables you to hire the silver and crystal plated rose bowls, if this is the style you are after.

Can I hire flower vases without Fine & Floral providing the flowers?
You can hire the different types of vases (excluding the rose bowls) to arrange your own flowers in.
How do I book?
You can email us on —– for an individual quote for vintage china and flowers.
In the email please let us know your requirements, including any style or theme, event date, location and a contact address. A personalised quote will be prepared and emailed to you for review together with terms and conditions of hire.
If you want to go ahead, then once you have paid 40% of the rental fee on the invoice, then it is booked.
What are the charges that appear on the invoice?
The rental fee, the damages and loss deposit and any delivery and set up charges if applicable.
How much is the deposit to secure the booking?
The deposit is 40% of the cost of hire in order to secure a booking. The deposit for flowers is non-refundable.
The deposit for china is refundable at:
- 80% – more than 30 days prior to the event
- 70% – 30-22 days prior to the event
- No refund will be given for cancellations up to 21 days prior to the event.
When do I make my final payment?
The invoice, including any refundable damages deposit, balance of rental fee and delivery charges should be paid in full 3 weeks (21 days) prior to the event.
If this is not paid in full on the due date, then we reserve the right to cancel the flowers or hire agreement and therefore no services or hire items will be provided.
How long is the period of hire?
The period of hire is 1-3 days, hire items to be delivered the day before the event and picked up the day after, please confirm arrangements beforehand. The hire period may be extended for more than 3 days at additional cost.
Do you deliver or can we collect?
We do deliver, charges vary depending on the size of the order. Please contact us for delivery charges. You can also arrange to collect. Please get in touch.
Can you set up and pack away?
We can set up and pack away, this will be charged at an hourly rate. Please contact us to let us know your requirements.
Will I receive matching china?
Due to the vintage nature of the china it is not available in complete sets, but mix and match. Trios will not always be a matching set but will generally be mixed and matched with similar colours and themes. This mix and match effect can have a prettier vintage effect than having matching items.
Our china tea cups, saucers and plates are mainly floral, however we can provide a mix of patterns or try to get one floral style or theme if available. Unfortunately we can’t accommodate individual selection.
Who does the washing up?
We don the Marigolds and do the washing up.
Is the china microwave or oven safe?
No – the china is not microwave or oven safe.
